Philip C. Henry Phil is a native of Lafayette, Georgia. He graduated magna cum laude from The University of Georgia in 1975 and cum laude from Cumberland School of Law of Samford University in 1978. He is the senior partner of our firm and holds a distinguished track record with numerous settlements and trial verdicts of over one million dollars. He was lead counsel in the much publicized case of Brown v. The Fulton-DeKalb Hospital Authority (State Court of Fulton County, Georgia), which resulted in a jury verdict of $14,915,670.00. He is an elected member of The American College of Trial Lawyers, a prestigious organization limited to the top one percent of attorneys from each state. He has been recognized in numerous national publications, including The Best Lawyers in America, and was recently named as one of Atlantas finest trial attorneys by Atlanta Magazine. Philip began his practice with an insurance defense firm where he gained invaluable experience and insight into the manner in which large corporations and insurance companies defend serious personal injury suits. He left the defense bar in the mid 1980s and since that time has limited his practice solely to the representation of individuals with claims against corporations and insurance companies. He is a frequent speaker at trial lawyer functions, and is a member of numerous professional organizations including The Georgia Trial Lawyers Association and The Association of Trial Lawyers of America.
